I will be having an extended septal myectomy on Friday Feb. 18th. Intensive care for 3 days then a week in the hospital. I will be out of work for at least 8 weeks.
I have so many things to take care of betewwn now and then that I suspect the time will fly by. I'm mostly worried about the pain afterward. Please continue with the prayers and well wishes, I'll sure need them.
My OWOH will be looked at by my daughter. She will check the blog and e-mail. Such a bad time to have surgery! LOL
Donna, you will be in my prayers as will your doctors. I'm sure everything will go fine and you'll feel much better after you recover. Don't forget I'm fairly close by so if you need anything just holler. Big hugs and try not to worry.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that! I will keep you in my prayers! I know what you are going through. I had major surgery one month ago today, and still need two weeks to heal. I can't wait to get out of the house! I was so stressed out before my surgery, and so happy to just finally get it over with. I was sure to clean my studio before hand and had everything out and ready that I might need, when I was up to it. Just remember how much better you will be once it is all done and you have healed. I'm here if you need me! xoxo Rhonda...
ReplyDeleteI hope things go well for you. My best wishes for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteBless you, best wishes x
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteHello, Donna
ReplyDeleteYou will be on my heart and in my prayers. I always pray for the surgeons and nurses and those attending the surgery...prayer goes a long way.
'May the Lord make his face to shine on you and give you peace'
Sorry you weren't able to participate in the OWOH event.
hugs,

Thank you for visiting my blog & OWOH post. I wish you the best with your surgery & recovery.
ReplyDeleteDearest Donna, I echo my sister Teresa's comment and want to add that I am praying for you too. With God, all things are possible. You seem like a lovely gal who has a strong and loving family who care deeply for you. Blessings in the journey, Rebecca in Massachusetts
